Since October 2012, I have a post-doc position in the Department of Mathematics of the University of Liège, in the team of Pierre Mathonet.
I am regularly in touch with the team of Pierre Bieliavsky at the University of Louvain-la-Neuve. I am funded by the IAP (Interuniversity Attraction Pole) DYGEST (DYnamics, GEometry and STatistical physics).
Career path:
I did my thesis from October 2003 until November 2006 at the University of Liège under the supervision of Pierre Lecomte, in the unit "Geometry and algorithms Theory". From January 2007 until October 2008, I was a post-doc researcher at the University of Luxembourg, in the Mathematics Research Unit, in the team of Norbert Poncin. From October 2008 until October 2012, I was "Chargé de Recherches FNRS" (postdoctoral position) in the Department of Mathematics of the ULg.
Scopes:
My research deals with the geometrical aspects of the Mathematical Physics. Especially, until now, it dealt mainly with problems related to the concept of quantization. It brought me to study the following fields:
Equivariant quantizations,
Supergeometry,
Parabolic geometries, especially conformal geometry and projective geometry,
Foliations and singular spaces,
Lie (super)algebras and their representations,
Symmetries of the geodesic flow and their quantum counterparts.
Since October 2011, I am the cosupervisor of the thesis of Aboubacar Nibirantiza, who is working under the supervision of Pierre Mathonet on a thesis which deals with the equivariant quantization on contact supermanifolds.
